Lafayette Police Searching For Suspect After Tippecanoe County Judge, Wife Shot

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WOWO) — Lafayette police are searching for a suspect after Tippecanoe County Judge Steve Meyer and his wife, Kim, were shot in their home Sunday afternoon.

Both are currently hospitalized in stable condition.

While investigators look for leads, the Indiana Supreme Court has issued a security warning for all judicial officers to remain vigilant.

Senior judges have been called in to ensure that court proceedings in Tippecanoe County continue without delay.
