ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): The latest Hoosier Real Estate Report shows that for just the second time in 2014, monthly home sales outpaced last year.

580 more homes sold statewide in September than during the same month last year in the Hoosier state. That's a more than a 9 percent increase.

September home sale prices were also better than last year. So what about the local market? In Allen County, sales are up nearly 4 percent for the month. The median price is also up 5-and-a-half percent to 115-thousand dollars.
