Leesburg Bank Robbery Investigation, Surveillance Photos Released

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO):  Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department deputies are looking into a bank robbery that happened Friday afternoon at the Leesburg branch of the Farmers State Bank on S. Main Street.

According to police, the suspect entered into the bank wearing a dark colored mask over his nose and mouth. He had on a blue t-shirt, dark colored cargo pants, and white & silver running shoes at the time of the robbery.

Police believe him to be a white man, approximately 6'00 to 6'02″, mid to late 50's, wearing a red ball cap. He was described as having grey or white hair, with either a beard or go tee that came to a two-prong or fork-style points at his chin area, (see photos below.)

The suspect left the bank with an unknown amount of cash, and drove off in a silver or grey, early to mid 1990 station wagon, possibly a Chevy Cavalier or Ford Escort.
