FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): An Indianapolis woman says she was mocked for her height at the Luke Bryan concert in Fort Wayne.

It was supposed to be a good time, but it ended up turning into a freak show for Rebecca Salois and her friend, who are both little people. Salois told WOWO's Ryan Wrecker Wednesday that they were mocked by fellow concertgoers for their height, being called “midget” and “dwarf” and, in this instance, being asked to take pictures with someone. “This is derogatory towards us and it feels like we're in a freak show and we're not,” Salois said. “He then states to us that we're discriminating against him because we wouldn't take a picture (with him). At that point, I lost it.”

Salois and her friend took off before the concert started. She's hoping that more people take awareness of dwarfism. 

This month is Dwarfism Awareness Month around the country.
