I-69 Wreck in Grant County Leaves One Dead

MARION, Ind. (WOWO): A semi driver is dead following a two vehicle accident in Grant County Wednesday.

A semi being driven by 58 year old Richard Dibble of Clay City hit another vehicle on northbound I-69 north of Marion Wednesday morning a little before 10 AM. Witnesses say Dibble was driving erratically before he hit the car being driven by 61 year old Stephen Bishop of Greenwood. Both cars ended up in the median.

Amazingly, Bishop wasn't hurt. However, Dibble was mostly unresponsive and he was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Drugs and alcohol are not being blamed, but officials are looking into Dibble's medical history.
