Lowland Flooding Expected Along Wabash River All Week

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) _ Flooding is expected to continue along some rivers in southwestern Indiana throughout the week even as high water has receded in many parts of the state from last week's heavy rains.

The National Weather Service says lowland flooding will rise in spots along the Wabash and White rivers over the coming days.

Farmer Chuck Curran has extensive flooding on 400 acres of crops along the Wabash River near Terre Haute. Curran tells the Tribune-Star he expects heavy crop losses and doesn't know yet whether he'll be able to replant.
