ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A semi truck driver has died after the semi he was driving, rolled over on US 30 near Snyder Road.

Wednesday afternoon, around 4:10 p.m., officers with the Allen County Sheriff's Department were called to the single semi crash. The driver was traveling west on US 30 when he left the road and turned over into a bean field.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

As of right now, investigators are unsure why the semi left the roadway, but the investigation is ongoing.

US 30 west at State Road 101 is shut down and will continue to be shut down for several hours. Drivers you are being asked to take Old Lincoln Highway from State Road 101 to US 30.
