FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Mayor Tom Henry has proclaimed today, March 24th, as “University of Saint Francis Women’s Basketball Team Day” in Fort Wayne. Henry joined the team to congratulation them on their NAIA Division II National Championship win.

“Winning a national championship is a tremendous accomplishment that we wanted to recognize with a proclamation,” said Mayor Henry. “We’re proud of the team’s efforts. It’s great to see student athletes making a positive difference in our community.”
