I tried to call in to KB, but couldn’t get through. Look, we can talk budget issues until we’re blue in the face. Money won’t solve the issue. Let’s say I’ve got Elon Musk money. What am I going to do with that??? Pay these kids to “be good”? No. If the mayor reallocated funds to start a new “Youth Violence panel, all that would happen is that a bunch of VIPs would get big salaries to come up with some BS statistics. The problem starts at HOME with bad parents. The morals have all gone to s**t. Parenting programs MIGHT help. I think we need to take a 2A approach like that little town in Texas. Nearly everyone carries a firearm there. They have the lowest crime rate in the country. If we start making crime and violence such a risky thing to commit, it will stop being so attractive to these kids. You know what place is NEVER robbed? A police station. Why? Everyone there has a gun! If more law abiding people would carry a weapon the crime, Youth or otherwise, would stop.
