New Albany Drug Bust Nets Nearly 40 Drug Dealers

NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WOWO): An early morning roundup nets nearly 40 suspected drug dealers. Officers from the New Albany Police Department along with the U.S. Marshals, Indiana State Police, and others arrested nearly 40 of the 47 drug dealers they had warrants for.

The bust was the largest in NAPD history.

Officers made arrests in Floyd and Clark counties and in Kentucky. At least 10 were repeat offenders and most of those arrested are facing charges for dealing within 1,000 feet of a school or public housing project.
