FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): From dishwasher to owner.

There’s a new owner of a longtime downtown Fort Wayne diner… and she’s a familiar face for many customers. According to the Downtown Fort Wayne blog, Angie Harter started at Cindy’s Diner in 1996 as a dishwasher, but as of May 1st, she’s the owner, having bought the diner from owners John and Cindy Scheele.

She says she knows the names of hundreds of customers, and their favorite orders.

The diner recently moved to 230 West Berry due to the Ash Skyline Plaza project, but it seems Harter’s not going anywhere.
