FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): More national attention for Fort Wayne.

Realtor.com has Fort Wayne on their list of America’s 20 hottest markets for Real Estate in April 2016, coming in at #17, behind Lafayette, Indiana but ahead of Oxnard, California.

The list is based on the number of days a home sits on the market, and economist Jonathan Smoke says many Midwestern markets are continuing a “boom period” that started last year.

It matches up with recent reports that Fort Wayne’s real estate inventory has made a significant drop as more buyers start making moves.
