New Haven High School student arrested, threatens to “shoot up” school

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WOWO) – A student has been arrested after threatening to “shoot up” New Haven High School Friday, according to The News-Sentinel.

The student was suspended for a separate issue, and while sitting in the office stated that she “hated the school” and “wanted to shoot it up.”

The School Resource Officer overheard the statements, who then took the student into his office. She was then arrested from school property and taken to the Allen County Juvenile Justice Center on charges of felony intimidation.

She was suspended for ten days, and may be expelled.
