New Haven Kroger robbed

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WOWO): The New Haven Kroger was robbed, and police are looking for the suspect.

New Haven officers responded to a theft call inside the grocery store at 821 Lincoln Highway. They say the suspect fled in a dark colored van before they could arrive.

It’s reported the suspect entered the store, completed his shopping and even talked to the employee at the self-checkout. Before he left, he allegedly entered an area where cigarettes are stored and took a full crate.  Then they say he left without paying.

The suspect is described as a black or Hispanic male, medium build with black hair. The stolen goods are valued at $1,200.
