NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (AP) – A city north of Indianapolis is set to give a tech company $3.4 million in incentives to build a new corporate headquarters there.

The Indianapolis Star (http://indy.st/1Ixn4yg ) reports the Noblesville City Council approved incentives Tuesday for BlueSky Technology Partners.

The digital consulting and marketing firm wants to build a $6 million facility west of the White River in Noblesville, an area that city officials have tried to revitalize for years.

Noblesville city attorney Mike Howard says the city agreed to purchase the lot for the company for about $1 million and spend about $2.4 million for improvements that include a parking lot.

Documents filed with the city say the site would employ 75 to 85 people by 2021. The company has about 55 workers at a smaller site in Noblesville.
