NWS: Severe Weather Threat for Sunday Evening

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The National Weather Service reports severe weather remains possible Sunday afternoon and evening, primarily from 3pm to 9pm.

The greatest threat will be along and west of I-69.

Damaging straight line winds will be the primary threat. The risk for large hail and tornadoes is lower.

Heavy rain and localized flooding will also be possible across the area into the overnight.

Rainfall amounts of 1-2” are expected with locally higher amounts possible.
