One Injured in Three-Car Chain Reaction Crash

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A three-car chain reaction crash on the city's north side has left a woman in critical condition.

It happened around 5 p.m. Wednesday near on St. Joe Road near the Marketplace of Canterbury.

Police say a car made an abrupt turn into traffic and collided with another car. A pick-up swerved to avoid the first car, struck the second, which then pushed it into the first vehicle. 

The driver of the first car was taken to a local hospital, where she was later downgraded critical condition. No other serious injuries were reported at the crash scene.
