FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The US Department of Agriculture has announced a massive frozen chicken nugget recall.

More than 68,000 pounds of SimplySmart Organics Gluten Free Chicken Nuggets, made by Perdue Foods LLC, are being recalled due to at least three consumer complaints that wood was found within the nuggets.

So far there have been no reported adverse reactions from consumers who have eaten the nuggets.

The impacted products have a “best by” date of October 25th, 2019. The UPC Bar Code 72745-80656 is visible on the back of the package.

If you have any of the recalled nuggets, throw them away or return them to where you bought them.
