WATERLOO, Ind. (WOWO): An Auburn man was injured in a crash early Friday morning.

Police believe a Toyota Solara was traveling on C.R. 39 approaching S.R. 427 in Waterloo at about 2:45 a.m. The vehicle didn’t negotiate the curve and ran off the side of the road, according to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office. 

The car was totaled and the man was treated at the scene for his injuries.

Police believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
