FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – The Fort Wayne Police Department is actively investigating after a person was found stabbed in Promenade Park.

Dispatch received a call shortly after 9 p.m. on Friday about a person stabbed in the park’s bathroom. The caller stated that the individual was unconscious. 

Officers arrived to find a person suffering from stab wounds.

21 Alive News reports that life-saving measures were performed, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
