**UPDATE: The man has surrendered to police. Nobody was hurt.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne police dispatch tells WOWO News that an investigation is underway at a residence on the 1300 block of High Street, just west of St. Mary’s Avenue. Our partners in news at 21 Alive report that the investigation is in reference to a possible barricaded subject in the home.

Officials say that the police activity is not affecting any high-traffic areas, however, they ask that drivers avoid the area as the investigation continues. We’ll have more details as they become available.
