Police Track Wanted Sex Offenders in Williams Co. Ohio

WILLIAMS COUNTY, Ohio (WOWO): Two wanted sex offenders have been captured after police discovered their whereabouts in Bryan, Ohio.

The U.S. Marshals Service helped local authorities track down Michael Vanscoder and David Bidlack, who were found to be working at the Golden Bear Marathon in Bryan. The suspects’ vehicle was located at their workplace and the Marshals Service sent officers to the scene.

Once Bidlack realized they were outside the building, he ran out the back door.

Vanscoder was on parole for failing to register as a convicted sex offender in Ohio. He was transported to Williams County while police continued to hunt for Bidlack.

Police eventually tracked down Bidlack with the help of a K-9 Unit. He faces a felony charge in four counties, including Defiance and Williams Counties.
