Popular Drink of the 90s Making a Comeback

INDIANAPOLIS: A favorite of Millennials, Surge was removed from shelves in 2001. The caffeine and calorie packed soft drink later developed a cult following, and after years of online campaigning by fans, it's finally back.

Surge was created by Coca-Cola to rival Mountain Dew in the mid 90s. If you're feeling nostalgic, you can purchase the drink exclusively on Amazon.

Each 12 oz. can of Surge is 230 calories and contains 56 grams of sugar. Comparatively, 12 oz. of Coca-Cola is 140 calories, and 12 oz. of gravy is about 132 calories.

No word yet if Beanie Babies and Tamagotchis are also planning a comeback.
