FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A local veterans organization is getting a major boost.

Roanoke American Legion Post #160 is contributing $100,000 to Honor Flight Northeast Indiana.

Legion members say they've been collecting for about five years through fundraisers and contributions from other Roanoke organizations.

They say it's a small token for the great sacrifices of vets.
