Rockville inmates to be on ‘Women in Prison’ TV show

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP): Female inmates at the Rockville Correctional Facility will be featured in a television documentary series premiering this week on the Investigation Discovery network.

The Terre Haute Tribune-Star reports that “Women in Prison” will focus on the stories of 12 offenders at the all-women Wabash Valley facility during the six-episode season.

The show debuts Tuesday at 9 p.m. Eastern time. This week’s episode covers a former Army officer who started using drugs after an on-duty injury and was later convicted of murder.

Rockville is the second Indiana women’s correctional facility to be on the show. Season one was filmed at the Indiana Women’s Prison in Indianapolis.
