The President and the founder of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation are stepping down. President Liz Thompson and Founder Nancy Brinker have chosen to seek other avenues. Brinker will stay on working on fundraising but day to day operations will go to someone else. This is part of a major shake up that started earlier this year; you;’ll remember the foundation announced they were no longer go to provide funding to planned parenthood. Which caused a major back-lash and the end result was that the foundation reinstated the funding and several people left in the wake of it.
