South Bend Man Sentenced

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WOWO) — A South Bend man has been sentenced to 12 years in federal prison after police found him asleep behind the wheel of a running car with a loaded gun and cocaine.

48-year-old Aguila Binion was convicted of possessing a firearm as a felon and intent to distribute drugs.

U.S. Attorney Adam Mildred says the sentence should serve as a warning to those attempting to sell “poison” in the community.
