ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Indiana Department of Transportation says SR 1/Dupont Road Bridge over I-69 will be closed again this weekend starting Friday at 8 p.m. The bridge will reopen on Monday, September 29, at 6 a.m. Although the bridge will be closed throughout the weekend, the ramps will remain open.
 
The official detour uses Auburn Road, Union Chapel Road and Diebold Road.
 
All lanes on I-69 northbound and southbound, within the work zone, are open and the speed limit is 65 mph.
 
After this weekend closure, the traffic pattern will be operating in the new diverging diamond pattern, with one lane in each direction open. By mid-October, the diverging diamond will be operational with two lanes in each direction open to traffic.
