INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): More than $12 million dollars worth of rental housing credits have been earmarked for 15 Indiana developments. Two of those are in the area.

Fort Wayne’s Villages of Hanna will receive $1.2 million and Plaza Green Apartments in Marion has been awarded $893 thousand dollars.

The grants are from the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority.

The grants were announced by Lt. Governor Sue Ellspermann, she says the grants are intended to leverage private investment and development of affordable housing throughout Indiana.
