FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne teenager is facing arson and criminal mischief charges after investigators say he set his truck on fire to collect insurance money.

Arson investigators say 19-year-old Dylan Goetterman intentionally set his vehicle on fire using a grill lighter and fluid. According to the News-Sentinel, Goetterman initially told firefighters a would-be buyer was upset with him, because he didn't accept an offer made on his truck. However, as the investigation continued his story changed.

The fire was reported June 28th at West Wind Apartments.
