FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne teen will likely spend decades in prison for a home invasion robbery and attack.

Thursday in Allen Superior Court, nineteen-year-old Zachery Doan was sentenced to 70 years behind bars after he pleaded guilty to burglary and robbery in the case.

According to the Journal-Gazette, in March, Doan convinced an 80-year-old woman to let him into her house. At one point he went to the woman's garage requesting a gas can. But she wouldn't let him back in in.

Later in the evening he found his way inside. That's when Doan attacked her, injuring her so badly that one eye was damaged beyond repair and detached the retina on the other eye.
