Two charged in Easter morning murder

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Two men have been charged with a fatal Easter Morning shooting in Fort Wayne.

The body of 26-year-old Javon Burnett was found between two apartment buildings near Memorial Coliseum on April 1st of this year. Now court documents say 25-year-old Tyrion McNair and 21-year-old Joshua Smiley have been charged with his murder, according to the Journal Gazette.

The FBI reportedly wiretapped McNair during an investigation into alleged gang ties. A motive for the murder wasn’t provided.

Both men are in custody at the Allen County Jail.
