FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): There’s good news for New York lovers in Fort Wayne.
United Airlines will start offering nonstop flights between Fort Wayne and New York/Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), the Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority announced on Monday.
This option will begin Sept. 6 and will be available seven days a week. Passengers departing from Fort Wayne will leave at 6 a.m. and land in New York at 7:45 a.m.
Returning flights will leave New York at 7:45 p.m. and arrive in Fort Wayne at 9:45 p.m.
United Airlines at Fort Wayne already offers nonstop flights to Chicago O’Hare International Airport three times a day.
