UPDATE: Flood Warning Issued for Parts of WOWO Listening Area

INDIANA, (WOWO): The National Weather Service in northern Indiana has issued a flood warning for the Salamonie River, below Warren, effecting Blackford, Huntington, Jay, Wabash and Wells Counties.

Ice jamming along the Salamonie River is causing minor flooding, but forecasters say once the ice jam releases, the river is expected to quickly fall back below flood stage.

The warning has been extended to include the Little River above Huntington.  As a reminder, you should never drive through a flooded area or allow children to play near flood waters.
