UPDATE: Semis Collide on I-69, Traffic Stalled

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Two drivers were hospitalized after a pick-up truck caused a two-semi crash on I-69 in DeKalb County Monday afternoon, closing the highway for more than five hours

The crash happened near the Kendallville exit along northbound I-69. A pickup truck was traveling south and drove through the median and into oncoming northbound traffic, striking a 2013 Freightliner semi and spinning into a Volvo semi.

The driver, 27-year-old Aaron Wilhelm of Waterloo was pinned inside the vehicle and when they got him out he was transported to Parkview.  One of the semi drivers was not injured, but the other needed care and was transported to the hospital.

Luckily all three drivers were wearing their seat-belts.
