FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): GOP Convention delegates and guests in attendance of the GOP State Convention in Fort Wayne celebrated the Governor’s birthday by donating $11,501 to the Community Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Indiana.
First Lady Karen Pence encouraged delegates and guests to celebrate her husband’s 55th birthday by making a contribution.
As of Monday morning, food bank representatives say they generated about $11,501, but they say an official sum won’t be known for several days as additional envelopes are expected to arrive in this week’s mail.
