Victim Named in Fatal House Fire

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Authorities have released the name of the woman killed in a Saturday morning house fire

The coroners office says that 45-year old Sheress Parker died from from smoke inhalation and thermal burns in the fire on Euclid Avenue. 

investigators say there'll looking into what cause the fire, but it appears someone left a pan unattended on the store. 

When crews arrived they found the residence fully engulfed with flames shooting 20 feet in to the air. 

It took firefighters about 25 minutes bring the flames under control

According to the fire department, firefighters were forced to use a high risk maneuver to get inside. The tactic directed water toward overhead toward the flames, while crews entered through windows.
