Warsaw Drowning Deaths Related to Tuesday Drug Arrest in Syracuse

28-year-old Jared Frantz was arrested at his home in Syracuse.

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Three people have been arrested on drug charges related to the May drowning deaths of two Kosciusko teenagers.

On May 30th, the bodies of 17-year-old Korbin Foster and 17-year-old Kaleb Lampkin were pulled from a pond just south of Warsaw.

Police had reason to believe the boys had ingested drugs at a sleepover earlier that day, and the investigation led to the arrest of two juveniles, who's names have not been released.

Further information led to the arrest of 28-year-old Thomas Frantz, who was taken into custody on Tuesday. He was arrested on felony drug charges, but it is not yet known how he is connected to the boys' deaths.

The coroner ruled the drownings were both accidental. Toxicology results have not yet been released and it's still unknown if the boys actually took drugs prior to their death.
