2 E. Ind. docs, assistant arrested on drug charges…

CONNERSVILLE, Ind. (AP) – Two doctors and a physician's assistant employed by an eastern Indiana hospital system have been arrested on charges they forged prescriptions for illegal prescriptions of narcotic painkillers and other drugs.
 
Federal and state authorities arrested Drs. Daniel Palmer and David Ringer and physician's assistant Jeff Ferryman on charges including dealing narcotics and controlled substances, forgery and conspiracy. Prosecutors says all are employed by Connersville-based Fayette Regional Health System.
 
All three men were lodged in the Fayette County Jail without bond. It wasn't clear whether they had attorneys.
 
Another physician's assistant there, David Wulff, was previously arrested on similar charges.
