VAN WERT, Ohio (WOWO): Two people were reportedly injured in a shooting early this evening west of downtown Van Wert, Ohio.
It's a developing story, but we are told authorities are searching for a female suspect in a wooden area in the western part of the county near U.S. 224, about mile from the Indiana-Ohio line.
Early reports suggest they were shot around 6:30 tonight on South Fulton Street and a suspect remains at large.
According to the Van Wert Times-Bulletin, a man and woman were injured. Both were said to be hospitalized. At least one was airlifted.
The suspect is described as a 48-year old female from the nearby community of Ohio City driving a red car. She is believed to have a .22 caliber rifle.
