2 Fort Wayne men arrested on drug charges following raid

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Two Fort Wayne men were arrested on drug charges Wednesday after police raided their home.

Justin W. Jeffery, 26, was arrested and charged with three counts of dealing cocaine or heroin, a level 4 felony, maintaining a common nuisance, a level 6 felony, possession of a syringe, a level 6 felony, and possession of marijuana, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department.

Jovone L. Wright, 38, was arrested and charged with two counts of aiding in dealing cocaine or heroin, a level 3 felony, and maintaining a common nuisance, a level 6 felony.

Officers served a search warrant at a home in the 1200 block of East Paulding Road around 8:45 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19. During the search, police found 35.2 grams of heroin, 4.9 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and more than $2,600 in cash, according to police.

Three people were inside the house during the raid. One man was not charged and released from the scene.
