2 Fremont residents hospitalized after motorcycle crash

STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Two Fremont residents were hospitalized after a motorcycle crash on Friday night.

At about 8:10 p.m. Friday, Steuben County police were called to Vanguilder Road just south of Baker Road on reports of a motorcycle crash, according to the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office. 

When officers arrived, they learned that a 44-year-old man was driving a motorcycle south on Vanguilder road when a deer ran out in front of him. The motorcycle hit the deer.

The man and the 36-year-old female passenger were hospitalized.

Their conditions aren’t known at this time. Police are still investigating the crash, but alcohol was not a factor.
