FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):A man was taken to a hospital early Thursday morning after the semi he was driving rolled over the median near the 344 mile marker on I-69.

Ronald Sharand of Cario, Ohio, was driving a semi around 5:20 a.m. north on I-69 when the semi went off the side of the road, according to the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department. When he tried to get the semi back in his lane, he over corrected and the semi rolled over the median.

Investigators said that Sharand was taken to Cameron Memorial Community Hospital and then transferred to Parkview Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators also say he was wearing his seat belt and the roads were dry.

The accident stopped traffic on northbound I-69 for a short time.
