Community Group Pushes to Overturn Wind Turbine Ordinance

By Scott Sarvay

DeKalb County, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – Some residents in DeKalb County who don’t want to see a wind farm built in their community are trying to put a stop to an ordinance that has already passed.

On Monday, concerned citizen, Carrie Raver, presented a list of proposals to Dekalb County Commissioners in an effort to slow-down development of the wind farm.

She wants commissioners to consider other alternatives.

They did not take any action on the petition, saying they’ll talk about it at a later date.

Raver and her group then asked for a moratorium on development.
