A confrontation between police and a suspect turned deadly Wednesday morning in Fort Wayne.  It all started when officers were sent to a pharmacy on East State Boulevard near Hobson Road to investigate a report of an armed robbery.  When they got there, they found a suspect fleeing the business. They caught up with the man at an apartment complex.  Authorities say the suspect had a gun, and shots were fired by the officers killing the man.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.  The deceased suspect has been identified by the Allen County Coroner as 21-year-old Stephen Wattley II, of Fort Wayne.
