Rudisill Shooting Suspect is Formally Charged

FORT WAYNE, Ind (WOWO): The suspect in a shooting that killed a man last week on Rudisill Blvd has been formally charged.

Police arrested 22-year-old Josiah Thomas shortly after he allegedly shot Gerelle Borum.  Eyewitness accounts of the incident led officers to Thomas who was sitting in a pickup truck at the time of his capture.

The Journal Gazette says a search of that vehicle turned up a shell casing consistent with the hollow-point bullet that killed the victim.  Thomas was booked on a preliminary charge or murder.  Formal murder charges have since been filed with the Allen County Court.
