Man Spared Jail Time in Dog Torture Video Case

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A man who was accused of abusing animals will not see the inside of a jail cell.  The Journal Gazette says 23-year-old Joshua Moore of Chicago, who was reportedly seen in YouTube videos abusing dogs in various scenarios, was given two years probation, which includes a 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM curfew.  Moore had been facing more than two dozen felony counts of animal torture and animal cruelty.  In the end, he was ultimately convicted on four misdemeanor counts which included depiction of animal cruelty.  A teenage accomplice was also sentenced to two years probation.
