Covington Road Bridge to be Closed

FORT WAYNE (WOWO): Construction work begins this week for the Covington Road bridge over Interstate 69.  Crews will close that area Thursday for a project that’s expected to last until October. Highway officials say as many as 12,000 vehicles use it daily, according to the Journal-Gazette. The $2.4 million dollar project will widen the bridge and install new support beams and piers.
