Man Accused of Illegally Performing as a Taxidermist

KENDALLVILLE, Ind (WOWO): Indiana conservation officers served a search warrant on Jason Maxston, he’s accused of performing as a “taxidermist” without a state license.

According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, the Kendallville man is charged with several felonies. Those alleged crimes also include an indoor marijuana “grow operation”, other drug charges and illegal possession of fish and animals for taxidermy purposes.

The search warrant was served Wednesday afternoon. After conservation officers received a tip that Maxston was performing taxidermy work without a state license.

Maxston is currently being held in the Noble County Jail.
