FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A body is found on High Street just west of downtown. Fort Wayne officers were called to the home around 12:30 p.m. this afternoon in reference of a body being found in the back yard. Once they arrived, the victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

At this time, the exact cause and manner of death are unknown, but will be determined by the Allen County Coroner's Office.  The identity of the victim will be confirmed and released by the Allen County Coroner's Office as well. 

According to police, it is believed that the victim was a resident of the home where his body was discovered.
